Who Are
We?
The Ward Melville Heritage Youth Corps is a student volunteer group, grades 6-12,
from the Three Village area and beyond.
What
Are We All About?
Our goal
is to continue the good works of philanthropists Ward and Dorothy Melville
who were dedicated to preserving local history and caring for the environment.
We
create and implement all our own events and community service projects.
You may have seen us in the media. News 12 Long Island, WABC-TV, Long Island
News Tonight and Newsday have covered our events.
There
are many benefits to being a WMHO Youth Corps member.
There are opportunities for public speaking, leadership, decision making and receiving scholarships.
Youth Corps members receive community service hours for their participation in monthly meetings and community events.
There's something for everyone!
We invite you to attend one of our meetings. There's no obligation, no membership fee, and we'll be happy to answer any of your questions.
It's a great way to get involved and have fun!
The Youth Corps is a place for everyone to be creative, make friends and make a difference in the community.
