Built during the colonial period\, they survived the British occupation of Long Island during the American Revolution and become interwoven in the stories of Long Islanders who not only witnessed\, but contributed\, to the development of the community and country. \n\n\n\nThis year\, we are proud to honor:\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDr. Robert Honkanen\nChair of Ophthalmology\, Stony Brook Medicine \nRead more \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAnn Strong\nAssociate Real Estate Broker\, Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty \nRead more \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nLinda Margolin\, Esq. Ackerman\, Pachman\, Goldstein & Margolin\, LLP \nRead more \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBrian Barton\nCommunity Leader and Former Owner\, TEB North Country Car Care \nRead more \nWe will also present a Certificate of Recognition to the Anna Smith Strong Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution for their exceptional and enduring contributions to preserving and promoting our shared history. \nProceeds from this year’s dinner will directly support restoration\, preservation\, and education programs at our environmental and historic properties.
