The Ward Melville Heritage Organization (WMHO) announced on November 23rd a Holiday Program for Stony Brook Village to be held December 6, 2020. WMHO will be bringing Santa Claus direct from the North Pole live over Zoom.
Families from all over will have the opportunity to make the magic of the holiday season come to life with a live Virtual Zoom Connection with Santa Claus in the North Pole. Holidays are looking a little different this year, but no need to worry. Santa and his elves have been busy and we are happy to announce they have Wi-Fi at the North Pole.
Join the Ward Melville Heritage Organization for this magical one-day only event. Each attendee will have a few moments of time to directly connect with Santa. Guests are welcome to place their holiday present requests to Santa in the Zoom chat box during the session or mail it physically at Santa’s mailbox in front of the Stony Brook Post Office.
This event is being offered free. Tickets can be purchased on Eventbrite for one of the three 45 minute long sessions at 2:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m., and 4:00 p.m. For individuals willing to make a donation to the Ward Melville Heritage Organization’s Santa Fund please visit https://wmho.org/support-wmho/wmho-donation-form/ – For 25 years the Santa Fund has provided gifts such as clothing and gifts for foster children and families in need.
Participants will be contacted directly with the login information for Zoom. On the date of the Zoom session with Santa, participants will join the call via Zoom meeting link and use the Meeting ID & Passcode to enter the virtual room.
Later in the afternoon the 60 ft. Norway Spruce tree will be lit on the Village Green at 5:30 p.m. on Facebook live. Sponsors for the day’s events are BUDCO, Damianos Realty, GSE Dynamics, and The Roosevelt Investment Group, Inc.
