It’s no secret that this past year goes down in history as one of the most difficult and challenging years on record. As we look back and reflect on what we’ve learned, we continue to be inspired by our community.

Over the last few months, we have worked hard at adapting and reinventing the role our programs and events have in the lives of local and national audiences. This past fall and winter we aimed to cultivate life-long learners and adventurers whose desire to discover and grow never ceases. From the Virtual Master Classes to the classic events the Ward Melville Heritage Organization hosts each year like the Scarecrow Competition, the Holiday Tree Competition and Visits with Santa, to our Annual Jewels & Jeans Fundraiser, we have reinvented and rethought how to adapt and preserve during the Coronavirus pandemic.

It is with great pleasure we show you how we’ve done so in this special winter edition of The Eagle.
