It’s no secret that this past year has been like no other.
In this issue of the Eagle you will read about the programs and events we have developed this past year. From the “Here for You” Master Classes to the Long Island Sound Connections Program, we have many community activities happening around town. Last, but not least, in this issue you will have a first look at some of the incredible restoration work the WMHO has begun this year.
As the Summer approaches, we anticipate that visitors from all over will be flocking to Stony Brook Village to enjoy the great outdoors, the WMHO’s historic and scientific attractions, activities, and fine shopping and dining.
We wouldn’t be where we are today without the wisdom and spirit of our founders, Ward and Dorothy Melville. We want you to know we are committed to facing the ongoing challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic to ensure their legacy continues to live on.
