Immediately after questions of ownership arose, The Ward Melville Heritage Organization (WMHO) took action at its own expense to complete critical studies needed for repair regardless of who was determined the owner. WMHO is happy to currently be in the construction plans phase of the project and applications are out for signatures for DEC. The construction plans will be ready for submission by the end of August. Submission to DEC is dependent by having all the applications signed by the respected parties. WMHO has signed all of the applications. Once all of the applications are signed by the respected parties, its submitted to DEC for the permitting process. We are all working together to get this project done.
